Thanks so much for your beautiful food and great service Veet. We loved the food and our guests were quite blown away. It really helped make our wedding a huge success. Celebrations and parties

For celebration catering you can tailor your menu to your party's needs. Below are some suggestions of canapés, mains, salads and desserts. You can have a full three course meal or just canapés, or canapés accompanied with salads - this works perfectly if you are planning a BBQ. If there is something you would like that is not on the menu, I can also accommodate.

All your food will come on lovely white returnable platters or chaffing dishes can be hired (at an additional cost) so your food stays warm through out your celebration. Prices listed below include me dropping off your food in time for your party.

If you require me or other helpers to stay and serve or assist at your party, there is an additional cost: $42 per hour for myself | $30 per hour for helpers, with a minimum of four hours.

We can either stay and reheat the food and present the food or offer the full service and be there to serve tables taking away plates etc.

 

Canapés

Your party can consist of food just from the canapés menu or you can have a few canapé dishes to accompany food from the main menu.  Some of the delicious canapés on offer are listed below:

Gluten-free canapés

  • Thai sweet corn fritters with home made sweet chili sauce or mango and avocado salas if in season (25 pieces) $65
  • Balinese tofu cakes (20 pieces) $60
  • pea and fetta fritters (20 pieces) $60
  • mini frittatas with eggplant caviar (25 pieces) $65
  • ricotta and olive filled eggplant with cherry tomatoes (20 pieces) $70
  • polenta bites with pesto (25 pieces) $50
  • Vietnamese rice paper springrolls with a macadamia and coriander filling and Davidson plum dipping sauce (20 pieces) $75
  • pesto and permesan filled mushrooms (30 pieces) $65
  • haloumi and beetroot skewers (30 pieces) $60
  • tofu or haloumi and roast vegetable skewers (30 pieces) $60
  • mini nut roasts (20 pieces) $60
  • silverbeet dolmades (20 pieces) $75
  • tangy potato balls with a tamarind dipping sauce (30 pieces) $60
  • trio of homemade dips, polenta chips and vegetable sticks $70
  • antipasto plate: chili, basil rolled bocconcini, sundried tomatoes, olives, marinated mushrooms, green beans and almonds $95
  • mini capsicums filled with quark and fetta (20 pieces) $65 (these are seasonal to summer only)

Non gluten-free canapés

  • fetta carrot pastry parcels (20 pieces) $75
  • mini stilton and walnut tarts (20 pieces) $60
  • artichoke and white bean tarts (20 pieces) $60
  • roasted beetroot and caramalised onion tarts (20 pieces) $60

Many of the above canapés can be adapted to fit a dairy free or vegan diet also.

 

Mains

You can have a theme party, for example Mexican, Indian, Balinese etc or choose a combination of dishes. Below are some examples or look at the retreat menu for more ideas. 

  • artichoke and pea lasagne
  • fusion lasagne - 3 layers: pumpkin and olive pesto, spinach and tofu, tomato and corn ragu
  • seasonal vegetable lasagne with bechamel sauce
  • macadamia and pea pesto pasta vegetable bake
  • zucchini polenta with pepporonata and salsa verde
  • stuffed zucchinis on a bed of capsicum and roasted cherry tomatoes
  • vegetable stacks with grilled haloumi
  • quinoa-filled capsicums
  • Thai style vegetable and white bean curry
  • miso tofu with grilled eggplant and macadamia stir-fried vegies
  • Mexican beans, Mexican tri-coloured rice and salsa

Main meals - $15 per person
Additional main meal is $10 per person

I recommend that you have one to two mains and accompany it with two to three salads or vegetable side dishes. Ideas for these dishes are listed below after the Indian banquet.

One main plus two salads or sides $24

Or a special Indian banquet

  • choice of one curry- Sri Lankan mixed vegetable curry with coconut, mulligatawny style curry- a thick curry with a wonderful combination of spices and cocnut milk, paneer and peas curry with mushrooms, paneer and mixed vegetable style tikka
  • choice of one dhal-spinach dhal, celebration dhal with a unique combination of flavours and saltanas and coconut, sweetcorn and celery dhal, a fusion dhal
  • date and coconut chutney
  • beetroot raita
  • papadums
  • rice
  • side salad

$25 per person

 

Salads and side vegies

  • rocket, bocconcini, artichoke and cherry tomato salad
  • rocket roast vegetable and fetta salad with quinoa
  • green salad with fennel, oranges and olives
  • green salad with borlotti beans, blueberries and nectarines
  • green salad with mango, avocado, cucumber, tomato and coriander
  • rocket, beetroot and haloumi salad
  • quinoa tabbouleh
  • Mediterranean pasta salad
  • Asian coleslaw
  • green bean, snow pea, butter bean and corn salad with roast potato salad
  • root vegetable bake with balsamic reduction
  • root vegetable gratin
  • steamed green veg with macadamia and lemon mrytle infused oil dressing
  • char-grilled Mediterranean veg
  • asparagus and beans in a tomato dressing and fresh buffalo mozarella
  • steamed vegetables with macadamia and kaffir lime dressing

Prices for salads and side vegies if independent of a main:

1 salad $12 per person
2 salads $18 per person
3 salads $22 per person
4 salads $25 per person

 

Desserts

Gluten-free

  • silken tofu chocolate mousse and orange sauce
  • chocolate cheese cake brownie with seasonal berries
  • orange chocolate cake with berries and whipped cream
  • decadent chocolate cake with berries and whipped cream
  • baked ricotta cheese cake
  • chocolate cherry cheesecake (signature cake)

Non gluten-free

  • cheese plate with lavosh, gluten-free crackers, quince and muscatels
  • or decadent fruit platter

$6 per person per dessert

If you would like to indulge your guests with one dessert, cheese plate and a fruit platter it is $15 per person.



From our first point of contact in the planning stages of my wedding, right up until the end of the night you were amazing.
