Thanks so much for your beautiful food and great service Veet. We loved the food and our guests were quite blown away. It really helped make our wedding a huge success. Celebrations and parties

For celebration catering you can tailor your menu to your party's needs. Below are some suggestions of canapés, mains, salads and desserts. You can have a full three course meal or just canapés, or canapés accompanied with salads - this works perfectly if you are planning a BBQ. If there is something you would like that is not on the menu, I can also accommodate.

All your food will come on lovely white returnable platters (which I will arrange to pick up within a few days after your party.) Prices listed below include me dropping off your food in time for your party and putting your mains on to reheat.

If you require me or other helpers to stay and serve or assist at your party, there is an additional cost: $40 per hour for myself | $28 per hour for helpers

Discounts do apply for regular Monday customers and for repeat customers of Veet's cuisine Cuisine catering for celebrations. If you send this menu on and one of your friends uses my catering service, you will receive a free meal with your next order or an additional discount off your catering event.

Canapés

Your party can consist of food just from the canapés menu or you can have a few canapé dishes to accompany food from the main menu.  Some of the delicious tapas on offer are listed below:

  • Thai sweet corn fritters with home made sweet chilli sauce 25 pieces $50 platter
  • mini frittatas with eggplant caviar 25 pieces $50 platter
  • ricotta and olive filled eggplant with cherry tomatoes 25 pieces $50 platter
  • mixed vegetable sushi 25 pieces $50 platter
  • polenta bites with pesto 35 pieces $50 platter
  • Vietnamese rice paper springrolls with a macadamia and coriander filling and Davidson plum dipping sauce
  • pesto and permesan filled mushrooms 30 pieces $50 platter
  • fetta carrot pastry parcels
  • mini stilton and walnut tarts 25 pieces $50 platter
  • haloumi and beetroot skewers 30 pieces $50 platter
  • trio of homemade dips and polenta chips and vegtable sticks $60 platter
  • antipasto plate: chili, basil rolled bocconcini, sundried tomatoes, olives, marinated mushrooms $80 platter
  • tangy potato balls with a tamarind dipping sauce 30 pieces $50 platter

 

Mains

You can have a theme party, for example Mexican, Indian, South East Asian, Lebanese, etc or choose a combination of dishes. Below are some examples or look at the retreat menu for more ideas. 

  • artichoke and pea lasagne
  • fusion lasagne - 3 layers: pumpkin and olive pesto, spinach and tofu, tomato and corn ragu
  • seasonal vegetable lasagne with bechamel sauce
  • zucchini polenta with pepporonata and salsa verde
  • stuffed zucchinis on a bed of capsicum and roasted cherry tomatoes
  • vegetable stacks with grilled haloumi
  • quinoa filled capsicums
  • Thai style vegetable and white bean curry
  • miso tofu with grilled eggplant and macadamia stir-fried vegies

Main meals - $15 per person
Main meals with a salad or side vegetable (see below) - $18 per person
Main meals with two salads or side vegetables (see below) - $21 per person
Additional main - $6 per person

Or a special Indian banquet

  • mixed vegetable and paneer balti
  • spinach dhal
  • date and coconut chutney
  • cucumber raita
  • papadums
  • biryani rice
  • side salad

$24 per person

  • rocket, bocconcini, artichoke and cherry tomato salad
  • baby spinach, green leaves roast vegetable and fetta salad
  • green salad with fennel, oranges and olives
  • green salad with borlotti beans, blueberries and nectarines
  • rocket, beetroot and haloumi salad
  • quinoa tabbouleh
  • Mediterranean pasta salad
  • Asian coleslaw
  • green bean, snow pea, butter bean and corn salad with roast potato salad
  • root vegetable bake
  • steamed green veg with macadamia and lemon mrytle and kaffir lime
  • char-grilled Mediterranean veg
  • asparagus and beans in a tomato dressing and fresh buffalo mozarella

Prices for salads and side vegies if independent of a main
1 salad $6 per person
2 salads $9 per person
3 salads $12 per person
4 salads $14 per person

Desserts

  • silken tofu chocolate mousse and orange sauce
  • chocolate cheese cake brownie with seasonal berries
  • orange chocolate cake with berries and whipped cream
  • decadent chocolate cake with berries and whipped cream
  • baked ricotta cheese cake

(all gluten free) or

  • cheese plate with lavosh, gluten free crackers, quince and muscatels
